How it works?
Thermal Switch KSD9700 Thermostat Small Temperature Controller consists of dish-shape
high sensitive bimetallic elements,movable contact-head, static contact-piece, soleplate,
outer case, heat-resistant leads and so on.When it is in operation, the bimetallic elements are
in a free state and the movable contact-head and the static contace-piece are closed and the
circuit is on.When the electric appliance malfunctions and causes temperature to rise to the
action temperature of the thermal protector, inner stress is produced inside the heated bimetallic
elements and the bimetallic elements act instantly -pushes the movable contact-head away from the
static contact-piece, thus cutting off the faulty circuit and protect the appliance.
When the temperature of the electric appliance to be protected drops to the rated reset temperature,
the bimetallic elements restores to its initial state and contact is closed .The electric appliance restores
its working condition. This product has many advantages, such as low resistance, fast temperature sensing,
prompt action, safety and reliability, small size and so on.
